I really enjoyed this trilogy.īloody pit, that was absolutely bloody epic, wow the emotions and the feels after reading The Autumn Republic. But kudos for having the women as soldiers who get involved in the blood and guts of battle. The main characters of Tamas, Taniel and Adamat were well written. Apparently the author calls the genre Flintlock Fantasy. It was great to see a fantasy novel set in a world not disimilar to that of Napoleon and Wellington. I don't want to spoil the books for those who've yet to listen to them but there are lots of moving moments where characters lives were in peril.Ī good listen.
